Maraging Stell has high stability to make original sculptures
High technology industries can take a lot of advantages of printing with Maraging Steel

Characteristics
Ideal for many tooling applications such as tools for injection molding, die casting of light metal alloys, punching, extrusion, it is also good for high performance industrial and engineering parts, for example aerospace and motor racing applications. Standard processing parameters use full melting of the entire geometry, typically with 40 μm layer thickness. Using standard parameters, the mechanical properties are fairly uniform in all directions. In both as-built and age-hardened states the parts can be machined, spark-eroded, welded, micro shot-peened, polished and coated if required. Unexposed powder can be re-used.
Highlights
- High mechanical strength
- Good weldability
- Flexibility
- High stability
Applications
- Heavy duty injection molds and inserts for molding all standard thermoplastics using standard injection parameters, with achievable tool life of up to millions of parts
- Die casting molds for small series in light alloys
- Parts requiring particularly high strength and hardness
